Youth Ministry Round Up #180

Greetings Awesome Person,

It's just a few days past halfway through the year and I think it's a good time to reflect.

Here are a few questions to get your brain juices flowing as you move into the second half of the year.

  • What were you personal goals starting out in 2024? Ministry goals? How's it going?
  • If you're not happy with how things are, where do you need to pivot?
  • How has God shown up in the midst of your expectations? What can you be grateful for?
  • do you, personally, need to grow in order to reach your goals? What changes do you need to make and what needs to remain the same?

I live by this quote,

"If you continue to do what you have always done, you'll always have what you've always had."

Let this sink in.

Don't let the past six months dictate the next six months of opportunities God has for you. Don't shrink back, reach forward.

Because I believe in this, I'd like to try something different when it comes to this newsletter, particularly when it comes to the inspirational opening.

I bet you have an awesome youth group, would you like to share it with everyone? I'm inviting you to share your hard work and wisdom with others.

I'm looking for youth leaders, volunteers, part time and full time to share

  • a picture of their youth group in a group or doing a fun activity
  • a short bio about you, how long you've been at your church and what you love about it
  • a tip you've learned about any aspect of youth ministry or just ministry you'd like to pass on to the over 2,000 youth workers on this list.
  • one line of encouragement for other youth workers (hang in there because..., etc.)

I would only edit your submission for space and clarity, grammar, etc.

No ads or promotions.

You can send your submissions to thediscipleproject@gmail.com

Subject: My Youth Group is Awesome!

Have a great week!

P.S.

Pray for me, as you are reading this I am at camp, walking up hills and sleeping on hard bunks for the glory of God. πŸ™
