I have no proof that a teen or young adult left this comment, but I think it could have been one of your students or one of my students, for that matter.
This comment could have also been left by anyone who has a preference for a pop culture Jesus vs a scriptural Jesus. This is no swipe at The Chosen, it's an observation that whoever left this comment prefers not to engage with scripture to know the truth about who Jesus is or why He came.
In Romans, Paul expresses his devotion to the Word(s) of God,
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
My pray for you is two fold, that you find hope in God's word and that you teach students to study God's word for themselves that they might find a Jesus worthy of their worship and devotion.
